Most moves within the valley finish the same day, beds made before dinner.
How a local move runs
The crew arrives in your window, walks through with you and lays down floor runners. Big pieces are wrapped where they stand, then the truck is loaded heaviest first so nothing shifts.
At the new place we place furniture where you point, rebuild beds and tables, and stack boxes in the room written on them.
What makes a day run long
- Long walks from the door to the truck
- Stairs with no lift, at either end
- Boxes still being packed when we arrive
- Parking that needs a permit we haven't arranged
Parking and lifts
Tell us about loading bays, lift bookings and permit zones at the walkthrough. We'll ask the building for a time slot if you'd like us to.
