Learn the stir.
A drink stirred properly is colder, clearer and silkier. Here is how we teach it.
Thirty seconds, slowly.
- Fill the mixing glass to the top with ice.
- Hold the spoon like a pencil, the back of the bowl against the glass.
- Push the ice round in one smooth circle. The spoon does the work, not your wrist.
- Taste at thirty seconds. Too sharp? Ten more.
The timer is a practice tool; it runs on your device only.
