Every bakery has a beginning, and this is where the real one is told: who lit the first oven, which recipe came from whose grandmother, why this street. For this sample we leave that space honest and empty rather than make up a history.

How we like to bake
Slowly, mostly. Doughs rest overnight in the cool room so the flavour has time to grow. Butter goes in cold, coffee is weighed, and anything that doesn't sell becomes bread pudding or goes to a neighbour.
"Your founder's favourite line about bread goes here, in their own words."
Who's behind the counter
Photos and names of the real bakers belong in this spot, with their permission. A bakery's people are its best advert, so a real client would share a few faces and a sentence each.
